How much does padel cost in Ireland? Court hire, lessons, racket hire and kit, with real prices published by Irish venues and a simple monthly budget.
Short answer: an hour of doubles padel in Ireland usually costs €30 to €52 per court, or about €7.50 to €13 each when four of you share it. Racket hire is around €5. A beginner kit of racket and shoes costs roughly €110 to €170 if you buy your own.
- Court hire is per court Most venues charge for the court, not per player, so splitting four ways keeps it cheap.
- Peak costs more Evenings and weekends cost more than weekday daytime slots at most venues.
- Hire first, buy later Racket hire at about €5 is fine for a first try. Buying makes sense after a few sessions.
- Lessons speed things up Group courses work out at roughly €20 to €25 per one-hour session.

Because padel is almost always played as doubles, the court price is shared four ways. That is what makes padel one of the cheaper racket sports to play regularly.

How much do padel lessons cost in Ireland?
Group courses are the most common way to learn. Bushy Park Tennis and Padel Club in Dublin charges €115 for a five-week beginner course of one-hour sessions, about €23 a session. The same club rents its outdoor courts at just €6 per person per hour to non-members, plus a small charge for lights.
Social sessions are cheaper still. Shoreline Sportspark runs social padel for €5 per person, with players rotating on the courts.
How much does padel cost per month?
Here is a simple example for a social player who plays once a week at a typical indoor venue.
- Court time: four sessions at about €11 each, so around €44 a month.
- Balls: a fresh tube every couple of weeks, so around €10 a month.
- Kit: a €50 racket and €65 shoes, which last a year or more for most social players.
That puts regular weekly padel at roughly €55 to €60 a month once you own your kit. Playing outdoors or at off-peak times can bring it down further, though off-peak slots are getting harder to find. The Irish Examiner reports peak-hour slots at some Cork clubs booked almost a week ahead.
