How Padel Player Makes Money

How Padel Player makes money: affiliate commission on some links, what that means for you, and why it never decides which products we recommend.

Do you earn money from the links on this site?

Yes. When you click a "Check price" button or a product link and then buy something, Padel Player may earn a small commission from the retailer. It is how we pay for hosting, research time and keeping the guides up to date.

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

That wording is required by the Amazon Associates programme, and we are happy to show it plainly.

Does it cost you anything extra?

No. The price you pay is the same whether you use our link or go to the retailer directly. The commission comes out of the retailer's margin, not your pocket.

Does commission change what we recommend?

No. Products are chosen through the process described in how gear makes our shortlist, before anyone looks at commission rates. We regularly recommend cheaper rackets over expensive ones, which earns us less, because they suit more players.

How can you spot an affiliate link?

Product boxes, comparison tables and "Check price" buttons are affiliate links. Many of them run through a short link on our own domain that starts with padelplayer.ie/go/ before passing you to the retailer. Links to rule books, venues, news and research are ordinary links and earn nothing.

Do brands pay to appear on Padel Player?

No. We do not accept payment, free products or other incentives in exchange for a place in a guide. If that ever changes for a specific page, the page will say so clearly at the top.
